I noticed that “eggcorn” which is in several dictionaries and other etymology sites, is missing here on my favorite etymology site.
I’d like to propose it for potential addition please.
Ha! I’d not heard of “eggcorn” until now. I was, however, familiar with “mondegreen,” which also appears to be missing from Etymonline.
