The entry “animal” cites a document called the “Battlefield Grammar,” dated around 1450. I have tried to look up where I can access the manuscript. I can only find a single scholar to have read it: one Cynthia Lloyd, who cited it once in her book Semantics and Word Formation (p. 136). She notes it contained the word evocacioun. Can anyone help me access the “Battlefield Grammar,” whatever it is?
