There are many words which have unmentioned sanskṛt cognates and I’d like to contribute, but I don’t see an obvious path to this. Can I contribute my knowledge in this area to help fill this archive out?

There is no obvious path.
I would suggest drafting entry revisions with all sources cited and email them to Doug. That would be your best bet. (oh and don’t use AI if you want to stay on his good side)

Terribly unfortunate your feeling it necessary to warn against the usage of Chatbot. Consider me one who much prefers preserving and enhancing literacy. Or perhaps more starkly, the impulse underlying the Buterlian Jihad is relatable to me. Thank you for the warning, my friend, and for making known the availability of an email address for Doug; this was unknown to me.
